This client came to me looking to create a logo for their massage business. They wanted to incorporate hands and spirals to reflect the holistic nature of massage and the sense of balance and flow that their practice focuses on.

I began by exploring visual references connected to holistic therapies, where spirals often appear as symbols of energy, movement, and natural cycles. From this research, I developed a series of sketches combining hand shapes with spiral forms, experimenting with ways the hands could hold or guide the spiral to suggest care, healing, and the movement of energy through the body.

Once the direction was established, I refined the concept digitally, simplifying the shapes so the logo would remain clear and recognisable while still feeling soft and organic. I then considered the wider branding elements, choosing typography and colours that would convey calmness, warmth, and professionalism.

Throughout the process, I worked closely with the client to refine the design and select the final direction. The end result is a logo that reflects the holistic and nurturing approach at the heart of their massage practice.
