This project is the opening credits, poster and DVD packaging for the short film “Away”. As this film centers around a woman struggling with dementia, I wanted to capture the idea of memories, and what better way to show memories than an old photo album.

The scrapbook was physically arranged, then a camera in After Effects was used to pan through. An accompanying DVD case was made to appear as the scrapbook, and the poster pulled inspiration from this too.
